AWESOME POETRY
WHO I AM...
Bound by chains or free to roam, placed up high or pushed down below,
I am a woman.
The mop that cleans after your mess,
The eyes that cry for your cares,
The heart that beats for those depressed.
I am a woman.
Clothed in rags or adorned in jewels,
Accepted by some and valuable to few,
A helping hand extended or folded in prayer,
I am a woman.
Hidden pain but a smiling face,
Mother'ed them that they too can be mothers,
Mender of the soles of your broken souls,
I am a woman.
A budding rose in the midst of rocks,
A gentle lion and a cunning dove,
A wise snake and a Mute eagle,
I am a woman.
Full of words, answers and suggestions,
Devoid of perfection but destined for it.
Mostly misunderstood and from time misused.
I am a woman.
A home maker and tender lover,
A great teacher and a willing learner,
A blessing be gotten from a curse.
In need of love and acceptance but not afraid to stand alone.
I am a woman... This is who I am.
